How to set up a remote user test

Step 1: Define the task

One clear task with a realistic scenario. Not "explore the product." A specific goal: "You want to [outcome]. Go ahead."

Write it in user language, not product language. If your button says "Create Project," don't say "create a project" in the task. Test whether they find it on their own.

Step 2: Write a screener
