How does Great Question pricing work?
Great Question uses modular pricing. You choose which modules you need (Research CRM, Research Methods, Research Repository), then pay per seat within each module.
Start with one module and expand into the others over time. Self-serve plans start at $99/month or $990/year, and enterprise pricing is custom based on your team size and module selection.

What are the different plan tiers?
We offer two tiers: self-serve and enterprise. Self-serve is $99/month or $990/year, giving you access to core research methods (interviews, surveys, unmoderated prototype testing), your research panel, AI analysis, and the repository. Enterprise pricing is custom and unlocks additional methods like card sorting, tree testing, focus groups, and round robin interview scheduling, plus dedicated support, custom onboarding, advanced security features like SAML/SSO and audit logs, and data governance controls. Do I have to buy all three modules?
No. You can purchase any module individually (Research CRM, Research Methods, or Research Repository) or all three together. Most customers start with one or two modules and expand as they see value. The average customer ends up consolidating 12 separate tools into our platform over time.
What counts as a "seat"?
A seat is any team member who actively creates or manages research studies, recruits participants, or analyzes data. Observers and stakeholders who only view shared research findings don't require a paid seat.
Do you charge for observers or view-only access?
No. People who only need to view research findings, watch recordings, or read insights from the repository get free access. You only pay for the people actively running research.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. We offer a 14-day free trial with no credit card required. You can launch unlimited projects, use any research method, manage up to 5,000 customers in your panel, and get up to 20 hours of transcriptions per month during the trial.
How do participant incentives work?
Great Question integrates with Tremendous to send incentives to participants in 80+ countries. You fund an incentive wallet, set the amount per participant per study, and payments are sent automatically when a session is completed. You control exactly how much each participant receives.
What does external recruitment cost?
If you need participants outside your customer base, we offer external recruitment through our panel of 6M+ B2B and B2C candidates (powered by Respondent). You're charged per successfully recruited participant at near-cost pricing. Self-serve plans use pay-as-you-go credits. Enterprise plans get custom rates. Contact us for details.
How does this compare to UserTesting's recruitment credits?
UserTesting sells recruitment credits on an annual subscription that expire if unused. They charge a premium on top of their recruitment providers' costs, and using your own customers costs 75 session units. We charge per seat for the platform at $99/month or $990/year (self-serve) and keep recruitment credits at near-cost pricing. No expiring credits, no hidden markups.

Do you offer a Data Processing Addendum (DPA)?
