Recruiter
What it does
Recruiting from a first-party panel means matching the people you already have permission to contact against the criteria of the study in front of you. It is also called participant sourcing or panel screening. The work is repetitive in a way that hides mistakes: filtering on attributes, checking who has already been in a recent round, spotting the person who technically qualifies but has answered four studies this quarter, then sending each of them something.
This skill does that pass against the panel in your Great Question account. It searches your candidate records by name and email, applies a segment you saved in Great Question, pulls everyone who took part in a given study, or picks up records updated since a date you name. Each record comes back with demographics and participation history, so who was in the last round is something it reads rather than guesses at. Once you have decided who to ask, it can send a screener invitation directly. Everything happens against your real panel data, from Claude, Cursor or ChatGPT with the Great Question MCP connected.
What you get back
- A list of panel members who match the study's criteria, with the reason each one matched.
- The people who nearly matched, kept visible so you can decide rather than never see them.
- Participation history alongside each match, so you can see who was asked recently before you ask them again.
- A saved segment applied as the filter, which is where anything more specific than a name or email search lives.
- Screener invitations sent to the people who qualify, once you have said which ones.
How to use it
Example Prompts:
"Screen the panel for the reconciliation study and show me who qualifies."
"Find people for this study who fit the criteria but haven't been in a session since January."
"Invite the twelve strongest matches and leave the rest for me."
What it won't do
It works on the panel you own, and it can only screen on what your records hold: if nobody filled in company size, company size is not a filter. Anything more specific than a name or email search has to exist as a saved segment before it can be applied. It also won't override the consent preferences on a record, so people who opted out stay out.
Questions
Does it recruit from outside my panel?
No. It works on the candidate records in your own account, reached by name and email search, by a segment you saved, or by who took part in a particular study. Someone who is not in your account cannot be reached by this skill.
Will it re-invite someone who was just in a study?
Only if you let it. No rule about recency or frequency is built in, and there is no threshold to configure. What it has is each person's participation history, so say what you want, for example nobody who has sat in a session since January, and it works from that.
Can I see why someone was chosen?
Yes. Each match comes back with the criteria it met, so a shortlist can be argued with rather than accepted on faith.
